Steve, unfortunately at the time I could see that it was possible to put anything in the corner due to the way the vines were laid out. It wasn't easy to work it but the only way I found to let you into the composition is as follows.
Take the predominant vine in the left hand corner. Follow it along and then it meets with a path in the distance which leads you up into Sancerre.
The last time I went, I discovered even more angles for this gorgeous place. I've been there four times now and so know it extremely well.
Here's another. Same place, nearly the same angle but the corner is filled. This was the last time I went there. The light was amazing on this day! The only problem I had here was that the sun kept behind the clouds giving a nice light show but because of it there wasn't the same shadow detail as in the first one. I believe that one of the photos from this shoot is to end up in Photo Plus at some point, so keep an eye out for that

It won't be the view you see here but a completely different angle.
