Exclamation EF Lens Mount With Lumix DMC-G10 (PLEASE HELP)

I am thinking about buying a lens mount for my DMC-G10 to be able to put Canon EF lenses on (http://goo.gl/p6Dbv) and this is the lens in question, an old style EF 50mm (http://goo.gl/tIiYL). Firstly I am wondering because it was made for SLRs as opposed to dSLRs would it actually work, and if it did, would I lose any vital functions?

Please help!!

I can't answer in respect as to whether it'll work on your Lumix but the Canon EF mount lenses work on both the DSLR and SLRs from Canon.

However, only the EFs range by Canon fits their non-full frame lenses. So I can't use that massive wide angle they do as I have a 5D Mark II.

Depends on what you call vital functions? It would be manual focus. I also don't see a way to set the f/stop so you may only be able to shoot wide open - in this 50mm case only at f/1.8?
