compact for gigs

hello to all

i`m new to this so please be gentle, i`m looking to buy a compact to take to gigs and get great pics , i`m currently looking at three , the samsung wb710 , the lumix tz10 and tz20, i have a budget of about 200 quid and realise i may have to go second hand for the latter,is there anyone out there using these or any other compacts for gigs and getting great results? any other suggestions ? i also enjoy taking landscapes, portraits and vist a lot of churches
