well the 23rd has been and gone and do we have an announcement err NO
how many people have been waiting on this?
I think its really bad, i mean if i was to let 10 thousand + people down I think i would be in exile by now

whew! i'll be out for the entire day hopefully when I come back later, the top 50 have been posted.

Oh well Saturday morning here and no announcement, no apologies either, nothing from the magazine saying sorry but due to a technical hitch we havent been able to host the final 50

I would have expect an apologie at least, I am rather shocked there has been no communication from the magazine staff

I felt a bit silly, posting my query rather early on the Friday, but I seem to remember from somewhere in the forums, that staff don't work weekends.
I hoped my reminder would prompt them to either post the shortlist, or explain why it is not there, and give a new date to look forward to.

We'll just have to wait and see. And be patient.

Sincere apologies about the delay in the announcement - judging has been exceptionally tough this year and we had a problem with the server. We'll be doing the announcement today though.

Yeah, same old same old! Your readers have heard this before - why is this information not put on a rolling banner across the top of the photoradar home page, then everyone can know that there has been a 'technical glitch'? And er . . um . . does this site not have 24/7 technical support? It should do!

I know the day isn't quite over yet, but it's past five o'clock and I haven't found the photos yet.
I suppose they will be shown in the usual way? Not hidden in some obscure place?

At first I felt discouraged about not being selected for editor's choice. However, after seeing some of the "editor's choices" I'm relieved. Some of the winning photos are absolute crap. No sour grapes, just an artistic opinion. Absolute crap.
