Hi Nigel,

This works for me using Firefox, your browser may react differently, but try it all the same. Right click the image in your original posting and select "view image". Your image will open up as a larger image, on it's own. You will see the cursor has turned into a "+" sign that will make the image larger again, so left click anywhere within the image to make it bigger and copy the url in the address bar.

To make your image clickable, try the following:

In my case I then hit the "post quick reply" button. You could do the same as a test, or if you prefer, edit your first post by deleting the image already there.

Above the newly opened and as yet empty reply window, hit the second icon from the right that looks like a mountain with a yellow sky background. This will open up an "insert image" box requesting a url. Paste the url you just copied into this box, but remember to overwrite or delete the intitial "http://" default opening text. Press "ok" and an enormous image will fill the screen. Now, to make the image clickable, left click the newly appeared massive image to select it, it will then have a bounding box around it that shows it's been selected. (you may have to use the margin sliders to see the edges of the inserted image to satisfy yourself that it's been selected, as it will probably appear larger than the reply window itself)

Then choose the "Insert link" icon to the left of the aforementioned "insert image" icon. This icon looks like a blue world sitting on top of a chain link. Once you've selected this icon, an "insert link" url window similar to the insert image url window will appear. Again, paste the same url you pasted before, which will still be in cache, remembering to overwrite or remove the default text already open in the window. Click ok and you're done.

In practice, this is a lot simpler than it sounds and should take you half the time it's taken you to read this message!

Rick.

Hi Nigel

Really this shot, really nice clean lines with background out of focus, was this as shot ?
The only thing I could suggest is to clone out the bugs/leaves in the radiator grill, but this is a minor thing.

Steve

Thanks Steve, yes the photo is pretty much as shot with no cropping. I just happened to have my zoom lens on at the time and thought I would take in some of the details. Not worried about the bugs, it keeps some sort of realism for me. F5.6, 1/160, 119mm.
