Small Dam, Toronto Botanical Gardens

This is small dam that is on the grounds of Toronto Botanical Gardens. The creek is Wilket Creek. I cropped quite a bit to get this, I was not pleased with my composition when I got home. I was out in the creek to take the photo. I used a 10 stop ND filter.

There is a bridge just out of frame above and during one of my shots a couple walked over. They never even showed up in the photo. Cool.

No colour Don? It's quite a busy scene - perhaps some vignetting would help focus the eye? There's almost too much to look at.

No colour, it was overcast, I used the ND filter and it was a ****** to correct as a result, so I went B&W I agree, too many rocks I think. I needed to move up the river I to fix it better.

Thanks for the comment.

Very nice, perjhaps shave a bit off the right hand side, Yep as for the pople thats the benefit of the 10 stop unless thye stop or are very slow thye wont be recoreded, That has saved many of my shots before,

Edit: Crop it square and add a heavy vigette, just tired it , doesnt look to bad,

It is cropped a lot already, the original has the bridge and a non-working mill wheel in it. I planned to crop a bit when I took it. I will try square and see it that works. When I am home, I do not have the original with me.
