Anyone using a Giottos MTL9351B tripod?

The Giottos you mention has a column that can will work horizontally, in fact it will lock at any angle between 12 and 6 o'clock - spec wise i think its the equivalent of the 190xprob. Ive seen the Giottos kit at several shows and have to say ive been impressed with the quality and price.

the 3 legged thing stuff looks interesting but i'm not sure it's made in England. They seem to make a lot of the British design and innovation, but they look like mass made Chinese products with a few nice detail touches - be interesting to ask and find out

I've seen it for £87.80 on amazon this includes a head. Its a good deal cheaper than the 190xprob with equivalent features. Infact the giottos looks more like the 055xprob in build quality which which is double the price once you add a similar head. I think i'm sold on the giottos. Add to the ever increasing shopping list.
