Crackington

Taken in North Cornwall, Crackington Haven, midday March.
Sky was boringly dark blue fading to the white distant clouds.

Any thoughts/views on the BW conversion

Cheers
Steve

Hi Steve,
Sometimes the damned sky just will not do what you want. Turning the whole thing monochrome has done a good job of rescuing what might otherwise be a boring image. I'm not sure if I can pinpoint the centre of interest; the cliff is probably too central, the rocks create great foreground interest, but it does doesn't quite make it through the waves. They need to be a bit more dramatic. Perhaps a second or so later the breaking wave would have been closer and provided a little more interest.
I'm being super-critical, so don't take it to heart. Overall, it's nice pic, I just think it could be a touch better.
