focussing on 60D

Please forgive my ignorance. i have just purchased a Canon 60d as an upgrade for my deceased 40D. Whilst looking through the viewfinder it is really hard to focus. it is good on the LCD screen. Is there a mode i am missing or is it just a case of use the screen.

any help much appreciated.

I have a 60D. Are you talking about manual focus? I don't have a problem and there are no special settings I know of. What lens' are you using?

It's true that live view is easier to focus with when you zoom in to x10, but might need some more details to help you further matey.

You're welcome.

I thought that may have been the problem, so I googled your camera and came up with that tutorial. Enjoy your new camera body, there's a lot more to discover!

Rick.

This probably a fine time to stress the importance of reading the manual and knowing your camera inside and out. I am away from home and plan to read my manual again this week. You never want to be stuck not being able to take the photo you want the way you want because you do not know how to do something on your camera.

Your camera should become an extension of yourself. It should be like part of you no different than your hand.

Ok so I got a little dramatic with that last part .
