Giving up copyright.

Funny what companies think they can get away with.

"14 Jul 2011 Whether sailing with the family in a regatta or racing on a maxi yacht, Musto’s regatta photography competition offers you the chance to celebrate Britain’s nautical summer and win prizes for photographing your regatta. Summer is the perfect time to get out the camera and capture your favourite moments from the British summer sailing season.
Simply email your favourite nautical photos over the summer to Musto for the chance to win the ultimate sailing kit and see your photograph in the windows of Musto stores around the country. The overall winner will receive £500 of sailing gear and four runners-up will win £250 to spend.

To enter the competition, send your photos to: photos@musto.com with your name and email address.

Additional prizes will be offered for the Photo of the Day by the local store during the Cowes, Salcombe, Falmouth and Dartmouth regattas and the winners will see their photograph displayed in store. Send in your photographs with the subject title ‘Cowes’, ‘Salcombe’, ‘Falmouth’ or ‘Dartmouth’, during the regatta for your chance to win.

The promotion runs from 1 July to 31 August 2011. Winners will be selected on 1 September 2001 and winners will be notified by email. In entering the competition, competitors are surrendering their copyright to the photographs and acknowledge that photographs may be used for promotional use by Musto. Judging and competition winners are at the discretion of Musto. The competition is open to amateur photographers only; professional photographers who enter will be disqualified. Names of the winners can be received by emailing photos@musto.com.
