Congratulations Karen on POTY, a very good capture of your family and a memory to treasure..

Genuine Fractals, will investigate, thank's for the knowledge.

Lovely shot DD, I do prefer the cropped version though. Good luck with the comp.

If you've got Photoshop then it does as good a job as Genuine Fractals.

Cracking shot of the Lizard and love the colours.

Must just add, you've been on here almost a year and have really improved in your general photograph skills. I think you should be really proud of yourself.

Thanks so much Oldboy, I am proud, Im getting there. What's holding me back now is money. I work off a tiny netbook, so need a PC. I need a better camera, my Canon 1000D is discontinued and bottom of the range. I need a really great wildlife lens too and a decent editing programme. Then watch out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cropping doesn't make you lose any sharpness, as technically the bit left over is the same as it was before the crop. If you crop and re-size it bigger (effectively zooming-in), then you'll lose some quality / sharpness.
