dust inside my canon 17-55 f/2.8 lens

can anyone tell me how to open and remove the visible dust particles inside my canon 17-55f/2.8 usm lens

If you're sure they are in the lens & not on the sensor or the mirror or the focusing screen, then I wouldn't personally recommend trying to sort it yourself, I'd send it off to Canon & get them to do it. I think the risk of mucking it up are too great.

That lens is prone to getting dust inside, there is a tutorial online that I've used a couple of times before to fix mine. It's not actually necessary though really as it doesnt affect image quality... if it does then its probalby on your sensor
