Photobook advice please

I have a question that is two fold, for Xmas I thought it would be a nice idea to produce a photobook ilustrating my wife and I's time together so far (Married for 4 years together for 7), I am concentrating on milestones such as when we met, holidays, wedding, daughters birth and favourite places to name but a few. It is going to be a nightmare to put together but then she is worth it.

So what I am looking for is a good online photobook company that does a really nice quality book and that provide good software to construct it with, I have tried the likes of Tesco's software but it is slow and awkard to use (I have an I7 based system as well). I also used PhotoBox but being an online based system it was very painful to use.

SO suggestions, ideas or experiences will be gratefully received.

You may wish to consider myphotobook.co.uk. This was rated overall the best of the bunch by Digital Camera Magazine 18 months or so back now if memory serves me correctly. Based upon DCM's review I ordered a book in landscape format from them having previously used Yophoto. Unlike other reviews that DCM published I have to say that in this case I was in full agreement and the quality of books that I have had published from myphoto have been second to none. Whilst this is a UK site, with the downloadable software also being in English obviously, the company is actually based in Berlin, Germany and consequently delivery may take a few days longer than it does for us here in Germany itself. The software might not be as comprehensive or as detailed perhaps as other companies but is simple to use and I would say that for most users is comprehensive enough. What matters most of course is (a) the quality of the paper and (b) both the quality and accuracy of print as regards colour. In this regard I can highly recommend myphotobook. Blurb is another company that comes out highly and is a name that often appears on the forum. However, I believe this company specialises more in the production of books that you may wish later to sell and is more geared up for that although others may have more knowledge in this regard.

Thanks Forseti, I will take a look, I did find them through google and the name rang a bell from DCM. I thought they did look expensive in comparison to other places but then if the quality is good then I don't mind paying extra.

I've had a book made by YoPhoto and they were good... certainly the quality is fine and it wasn't too expensive and it arrived quickly. I've only ever had 1 done though so can't offer any direct comparisons.

I got my engagement shoot photos done through yophoto. They were easy to use, reasonable price and quick delivery.
