Thumbs up Welcome from the Tech Ed

Hi, Paul here, Technique editor here at PhotoPlus. Just wanted to take this opportunity to say hello and introduce myself, and to welcome feedback - positive and negative - on the mag and the disc.

There's always room for improvement, so it's a great help to know what you like and dislike about the mag, but we'd also welcome suggestions, ideas and discussion about issues raised by the mag, or by the wider world of photography.

While I'm here just a thought on the post above - as I say, criticism is great, but sometimes a bit more detail would help. If you have a gripe, let us know which tutorial/issue/pic it is you have a gripe about, and what it is about it that you don't like, and we'll take a look and post a response.

Here's to a long - and hopefully - fruitful forum relationship!

Cheers,

Paul

I bet he will say it: budget. Long flight from the UK to Hawaii! Now, if you offer to put them up and feed them....

Just wanted to say hi and thanks for a great mag.

I bought my 400D at the same time as Photo plus started. I had just moved up from compacts and was a little intimidated with all the features: RAW, creative zones, focal lenghts, aperture etc and was considering joining a camera course. But taking out a subscription and all the tips and hints, written in plain non jargon English, has not only improved my pictures but saved me joining a course, although the more I read the more the more equipment I need to buy.
