Ah right - all new to me. However, if you want the Action to appear in the Full Edit, the ATN and PNG have to go in the 'photo effects' folder as described in my instructions above.

Did that just like did it for versions 6,7 and 8, they just did not show up in 9 which made me check out the new actions feature but as I prefer the new way it was no big deal for me Geoff.

All we need now is for Clare to come back and see the thread.

Did you delete or remove the old 'MediaDatabase.db3' file? It worked for me when I had the trial version of 9..... though it did some odd things afterwards. I admit I was starting to think that Adobe were trying to stop people putting Actions into Elements. With a few Actions and Plug-ins, Elements can do nearly everything full Photoshop can..... and Adobe wouldn't want that!
