Two good pictures, if yours was a ''snap shot'' just point and shoot it was very good Chris.

I had been using the camera on and off at a medieval fair, watching the battles inan arena. We went to look round the farm and I was hoping to find something interesting. Had camera round neck and was hoping to get an interesting shot of a goat that was grazing a couple of fields away. We stopped to look at some geese and this one was a little unhappy and began spitting..The camera luckily was on auto focus but nothing else was set for a close up! A lucky shot that I really like just not focused on the eye.

Don't worry Chris, we all have shots we have taken very quickly because the action only lasts a short time. I've just deleted some I took today that missed the focus, mine you it was with my 400mm F2.8 mounted on a tripod, when a Swan flew overhead three times.
