7D availabillity

I decided that I should upgrade my 450D to the 7D, but all of a sudden there are no 7D's in the UK! One shop telling me that they even had calls from France for a 7D.
Any one know any different?
I know that there are problems in Japan.

Really? i went in a shop today.. they had a pile of them out the back of the shop, not nown anywhere not to have them.. even jessops do,

Hmmm after looking at a few retailers it seems there is problem with stock for the body only but there seems to be stock when bought with the kit lenses.

Is it the body only you are after?

Same problem over here mate been trying to get one myself for weeks. The gray market has them but other than that there is not one 7D in the whole of Queensland.

Camera House said that because of whats happened in Japan it could be up to 3 months before they get any in stock.

There's availability here in Dublin,but expensive--1550 euros.Not sure how that translates to pounds.

We are thinking of going to the fair city to chase family history, but it's a bit far to go for returns!
