hi, i really like the first one, the reflections are good, and the long exposure has enhanced the smoke from the chimneys, so well done

Hi Justin, your first shot is good and I like it. I think what detracts from your second shot are the lights in the background. I think it would work better if you cleaned up the background and removed any unecessary distractions.

You know I keep looking at this and trying to figure out what was off and now that you said that it just seams clear as day. Thanks, I will fix that.

Hi Justin,
The first image is great but with night photography you have to be really careful with exposure.
On the first image the 'orange' water should be darker and this can be cleared up with photoshop (put a mask over the top half and drop the exposure down to darken the water.
You can then experiment with curves (applying one to the blue channel) to brighten the blue reflections, and a saturationlayer to brighten the yellow reflections.

I like the first shot and I would be interested in seeing the changes suggested by Phil.

The second I am not spo keen on though I am not sure why.

I really like both shots. The first is obvious.

I like the flare of the lights on the second one - they look like stars behind the planet. Nice job
