Oliseed Panorama

The shot below was made up of 35 shots taken on a Canon 100-400mm lens stitched together in Photoshop.

The filesize is 1.4GB & it took over 65GB of temp memory files to process it. (when I came back to the computer after it had finished stitching my hard drive had 1.30MB of space left on it!)

The original size would create a photo nearly 7metres wide at full resolution.

Awesome!!! I'm a fan of panoramas, but this is the longest I've seen! Love to see that up on a wall

I didn't get this till I clicked on the large verson then was enthralled. I took some oilseed photos earlier today too and the colours, the smell and the vastness drew me in.

Wow - time for a new hard drive if you're going to carry on...

Nice shot, there is always something fantastic about the yellow flowers and blue sky in full sun.

thanks all, I forgot to mention, I'm sure you noticed, but when you click the photo above it opens up in the browser, you can then click it again to make it bigger
