El Teide, Tenerife @ approx 3000 mtrs

Please let me know if this is too typical of a regular holiday snap shot or if it has taken a step up from that. I wanted so much from this location but took ill with the atmosphere at this height and had to hastily retreat!

I love the fact that it reminds me of a chocolate pudding with cream! :-) The sky is gorgeous and you have exposed it perfectly. Sorry the altitude got to you, there is some sort of drink you can have, they do it in the Andes that combats it but it also makes you stoned lol.

Wink

A excellent picture considering everything that was happening to you don't think I'd match this in any way.

Thanks. I think I am improving, but still sometimes get excited about a shot and spoil it by forgetting the basics!

I would like to be able to see a bigger version.
Its a nice enogh shot but you should have gotten closer to one of teh foreground rocks to lead teh eye into the shot. A rock shaped like the volcano would have been good its often best to get low down too to gety close to the foreground interest.

The exposure is good and it looks sharp.
