strobies

hi everyone. we are due to have a baby soon, and i want to improve my setup in time for the arrival. i have a background set up on order, and have been looking at the strobies portrait kit. we dont have a massive amount of space at home, and they seem to be a pretty good way of lighting some images without the need for studio lighting. does anyone have any experience with them, are they any good, and where would be the cheapest place to look for them?

many thanks, craig

Congratulations to you and your wife on your forthcoming happy event.

You don't say if you have a flash gun already to use them with.

I have some of the kit being the snoot and the softbox. The softbox is a bit of a PITA to put together but they do fold up small for storage.

Cheapest place that I found for them was HERE.

Don't forget to order the correct fitting for your flash gun too.

Another option that I have not tried is the Lastolite Ezybox. Looks a lot easier to fit to the flashgun.
