Its a whole lot easier and faster to upload to flickr. You can either use the flickr website to upload or a flickr upload tool.

Tried registering with them but doesn't seem to work - wondering if my security settings on my computer are set too high?

If I remember rightly, it does take a few goes before you get in, so keep trying.

Hi Matteocolombo,

Amazing pictures and it is just an endless sea of quality.

One note about your website though. It appears that the users has no control over the slide show? Now I might have that wrong but if not then I would be concerned that you lose a lot of traffic.

I too submitted my first ten images without response. The only winners are Getty, who now have many thousands of images to choose from, so the likelihood of selling is very narrow indeed. Getty also employs their own photographers to cover things like sports events, so it would be impossible to get anything accepted in that genre anyway.

F11, you will need to register with Flickr and then join the Getty group. You can then send images from your account to the Getty group. I think you have to submit ten images and they are put in a queue for critique. Terms and conditions can be had from the Getty group lead page.

Thanks for that Keith - ultimately I think you are right, the only winners are Getty. Might not consider it all now.

It is a very slow process getting into Getty on Flickr especially as they now seem to have a lot of images in the collection and are accepting less.

That said it is worth it, even with only a collection of about 40 images I make regular sales and a decent return even after they take their cut.
