Nah they are rubbish!

Cracking shots, but the first two look like art posters.

I agree with OldBoy, the eagle ones look a bit over done, good shots mind, just a little false looking.

The Owl is brilliant and well done on your photo of the day with it.

Cheers, Sie

They're all lovely shots. Congrats on POTD with number 4.

The other 3 look like you've made a large exposure adjustment on the birds, which must have been under exposed, but you've not masked it very cleanly as they all look like they've got halos!

Great captures, some a little bit over processed but amazing all the same :-)
Number 4 is my favourite.

Nice shots, although something about the bottom right on the last image is bothering me a bit . . .

And how many cameras/lenses do you own? From your gallery I see three different models already!

Denise

Thank you everyone. I amamazed!

The eagle shots are almost as taken. I have cloned out some highlights from the snow at the bottom of one shot, and darkened the other. But the bird is as taken, 1D mk3 and 300 f2.8 in a blizzard. At least it was to begin with!

I didn't much like the eagle pics, of which I have lseveral, because they do look surprising, possibly overdone. But I assure you, that is how it was. Partly because there was a lot of light reflected up to the under-wing area.

The eagle and the owl are tame birds, the eagle is 20 years old, the owl 34. Both were in superb condition and were very easy to work with. But lying in the snow to get the correct backgrounds was no fun. And freezing.

regards Becky

I think as a poster size print, the first two shots could be your best sellers.

The shots you got are worth the discomfort. Also, when it's very cold the air is cleaner so you don't get strange light.
