Smile Kereru NZ Pigeon
As I'm new to the forum, I thought it rude if I didn't share some of my images of NZ birds. The Kereru is a very important but endangered bird here, as it is the only bird large enough to eat the large seeds produced by NZ native bush plants.

I think they a very beautiful, and can be seen drunk from the fermentation of the seed pods in their gut.

Anyway I hope you like it.

It's a big bird and reminds me of an oversized pidgeon with strange colours. Very good capture.

Agree with Bobby, the head does look disproportionate to the body and claws.But very nice colours and detail.
