I just gave a quick look here on Kijiji (like Craigslist) and saw a couple at around $1100 CDN. At current exchange that is just under 700 GBP (688 actually). There was another at $850, $800 and one at $650. Not sure if that helps, the market may be very different where you are.

Craiglists shows $700 and $650. $650 = 407 GBP.

Wide range really.

T4 cameras a second hand dealer I use and respect .

£599 body only........that's their price with a 3 month guarantee .

Best bet have a look on ebay and see what they go for .

Certainly don't trade it in as they will give you peanuts unless you can negotiate a hefty discount off new camera .Depends how cheeky and persistant you are .

Can't be that old though couple of years if that ?

In my experience the camera drops in value considerably once it is second hand.

I'd say that in perfect condition you might be lucky to get around £500 but I would budget for nearer the £400 mark.

Mark - would be interested to hear your rational for upgrading.

Check 'completed listings' on ebay for the best private sales prices.

Have you thought of keeping it as a 'back-up' camera?
