Entry fee question

Hi there,

Can I just confirm please: the entry fee wording in the rules states "There is an entrance fee of £10 to enter up to five (5) images per category"

Does the £10 allow the entry of up to 5 images per category in as many categories as I like?

Or do I choose a category, and I can upload 5 images to it. In order to choose another category, I pay another £10?

Sorry if this is answered elsewhere, my search didn't turn up anything.

Thanks

I think you will find that you only pay the tenner once and this intitles you to enter all categories to the limits.

It's a free world Mark. Each to their own I guess and perhaps the phrase about fools and money springs to mind. Perhaps we will see a sudden growth in this sort of Lottery style comp - Easy money for some and who knows POTY may come top of that table?

Just not my style though I guess - How many of your clients would you pay for the priviledge of cutting their hair? - I cannot see the kick or reason in 'feed the greed' - Perhaps the banks will collapse next time round in the negative equity as every one chases the same dollar

Hi Matt,

Yep you can enter up to 50 shots (5 per category) for the fee of £10.

Thanks,

Amy

Hi MattUK - the £10 allows you to enter up to 50 images into the competition, with a max of 5 images per category. Thanks for pointing out the awkward wording in the rules. I'll go amend that now so it's more clear.

Jeff is our deputy editor - we both posted at the same time, didn't realise we were both writing a response!

You can take both our words for it though... ;-)

Best of luck!

Paypal obviously didn't like everyone signing up all at once yesterday as it decided to do a "random security check" on my account which suspended the payment AFTER I recieved the payment confirmed receipt and gained inital access to upload!!

I'd be interested to see how many others have problems with this secure payment method
