580 EX owners - question

If someone out there has a 580EX, can you please let me know the dimensions of the flash head? That's the bit just around the flash tube.

I think it's the same as my Metz (want to order some accessories) but want to be sure.

Hi H , just measured it, around the flash head its 22.2 cm hope this helps

Sounds like it's about right.

May I presume on you and your tape measure a little more Mark?

The Metz is 6.5cm across the top of the lens head, and 6.8cm across the bottom. The height is 4.8cm. That would seem to make it a little bit larger, but the circumference may be a little less than the total because the edges are rounded.

I get roughly the same ( we are talking about the plastic around the unit not the perspex where the bub is ? )
