Smile Market town : Catch up with Jimmy, Rosie and two new additions :)

Dereham East Anglia February 2011

Nikon D200 f3.5 @ 18mm

Natural light

I met with Jimmy today. After the accident things have been increasingly hard for him.

Before the hit and run he had been amazingly active, cycling into town every day with Rosie a permenant fixture in the front basket.

Now arthritis is slowly taking him prisoner. His hands, legs and shoulders are permenently in pain and it's taking longer to do everything, opening jars, bottles and the walk to the local shop that would take 5 minutes, now takes 40.

The local Doctors where Jimmy would visit to get his dressings changed did however bring some good news.

A family asked Jimmy to care for two young Jack Russell's and Jimmy obliged.

The situation became long term as the family never returned for the dogs so they now have joined Rosie as loving, doting members of Jimmy's family.

Very sad story, but the dogs look very content.

To cracking shot using natural light, which hasn't been good lately, so well done. Shame you cropped the top of his head off in the sceond shot.

Thanks Oldboy

Yeah, the light has been lousy... very hard to control, especially in a dark interior!

It was either the head or the paw ...as the focus on that shot was the dog, I went for paw
