Hi Karen,
Another great shot, I actually like both versions for different reasons:
image 1 balances the lights and darks better, while image 2 makes the scene moodier. Only thing I find distracting is the solid black to the image bottom right

I can see what you mean and I think its the dashboard. I suppose I could crop it out or clone in more snow to cover it up.
