Always wondered about that myself donereo. Of all the grammatical errors I see on sites confusion between "then" and "than" has never been an issue. I cannot see how people make that error even in your example - just dos not make sense.

Than again maybe just missed it

I never see it here, but on the forums I am most frequently on, it is rampant. I have even heard people speak that way.

This one error is not any more annoying than any other, I just picked it.

The whole 'member' thang is a bit silly really. If one is going to do it at all one should do it properly. At the moment anybody that signs up and then spends a few days simply blathering away about nothing becomes a 'senior' member.

In the spirit of offering a solution as opposed to just moaning:

New Member = 0-3 months + 20 posts.
Member = 3 months + 100 posts
Senior Member = 1yr upward + 750 posts

Needs a Life Member = more than 150 posts a month.

Good suggestions. I think they are actually using the defaults for the forum software.
