If it was just one spammer wouldn't it have been just as, or more, effective and far less disruptive to block its IP?

There were multiple IPs, so it may be more than one person or just someone refreshing their IP constantly.

We'll aim to get the captcha switched off as soon as possible though, as we realise it's inconvenient.

Thanks,

Amy

Amy, We? does that include the moderators, as in me? if so could you tell me where to access this please. Us moderators all seem to be in different primary and additional groups, and will have different permissions.

Lurkalot, that doesn't include you because you are a moderator of the forum, not the entire website. By referring to "we" I meant the staff here at PhotoRadar.

There's currently no way for users to access this list of latest comments on the website (galleries, news stories, reviews etc).

Thanks,

Amy

You said, there's no way to access a list making it "impossible to moderate". I wanted to clarify that we (me, Marcus and Jeff) are able to moderate it through the list on Drupal.

Thanks,

Amy

Yes my kids often tell me I need a full bottle in front of me or something along those lines.

I spotted a few links that went to an American real estate agency's webpage - in the landscape section, and a few of the themed threads.

My opinion - it's silly to make it harder for people to access and comment on this forum and the Photo Radar pages. As Lurkalot said earlier, it's quite easy to get around the captcha system; it drives me nuts because I keep getting messages saying something about my cookies, and there's nothing wrong with my cookies!

Regards,
Denise
