Phil, Just got your PM and sent a reply. I wish PhotoRader would send an electronic email to say a PM has been received because I rarely remember to look, but they don't -- at least I think that's right. Anyway, my reply will say it all. Good luck! They are an amazing print shop.

Hi Keith,

You can set your options to receive an email when a member sends you a private message.

To do this click on "Settings" above, then "Edit options". Scroll down a bit to where it says "private messaging" and check the box "Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages".

Thanks for the update ref: printers.
I got an e-mail notification of the PM (as I had previously implemented Amy's advice above), but it would be nice if the notification worked and I recieved some indication while in the forum. - Mind you though, it wouldn't be the first thing I'd fix on the forum, that would be making it easier to insert photo's in messages!

Yes, but it doesn't seem to work.

I also have the pop up notification checked and it doesn't work for me either.

Fortunately I don't get many pm's and Windows Live Messenger notifies me immediately anyway.

I think that'll be nothing. hasn't worked for me either though I do get the email notification (not that I get many messages)
