Captcha

Hello everyone

Just a quick post to let you know that we've had to switch CAPTCHA back on for commenting on the site, at least temporarily, due to a spammer...

I think that it's that little box with the letters and numbers that you can never read properly that you have to quote when logging to some places.

I can never see the letters properly and always end up making mistakes with it.

I've seen one which wasked:

"To prove you are human please answer describe the following picture" and there would be a clipart atyle image of a rabbit or a tree or something and you just wrote "rabbit" or "tree" in the box.

Much easier than captcha but harder to implement as it's not a functional widget system.

That would be much easier.

I always struggle with the 'Wobbly Words,' and blamed my poor eyesight. I'm glad to see, that so many of you have problems with them too!

It puts you off commenting though, especially if your 'screen time' is limited.
