Looking to the future / Scootering About

After digging through the arcives, I found a couple more shots of one of my nephews, taken last year.

They are both brilliant, Aaron :-) I love the angle of view on the first one, its very effective and I love the motion blurring on the second one, giving a sense of movement. The b/w conversion is really well done too. The shots have a great quality and in the future will be wonderful because the way its going with everyone too scared to photograph kids there won't be that many ' growing up' shots around!

Cracking shots, but I doubt he'll show his first girlfriend these shots!

Thanks for the wonderful comments, everyone! I was quite pleased how they turned out and really enjoyed converting them to black and white. I'm steadily working my way through my archives and seeing photographs that I never saw before (probably as I have so many of the bloody things, I missed them first time around lol).

My brother-in-law had a lot of my photographs of my nephews printed and mounted in black wooden frames for my sister, as a Christmas present. It was really nice to see them all mounted on the wall when I went round there the other day. It almost looked like a gallery with them all hanging there against the white wall of the hallway lol.

Karen I agree, if the social paranoia continues, growing up pictures will be few and far between. I keep hoping my sister will have another sprog, so that I'll have a few more years of photographing the rug rats. She said that after Jack, there is NO WAY, she is having any more. I might see if I can find her birth control pills and swap them over for tic-tacs or something lol.

I found a couple more photographs of Jack from the same day, back in September last year. I converted them to black and white this evening.
