The EDL

A shot from an EDL protest. The EDL members were beginning to have scuffles and were trying to break though the police line to get at the Anti-fascist supporters. Some of them fell to the floor as they tried to make a run for it.

Great action shot and very brave to point your camera at them. They may have thought you were a police spotter!

I was more bothered about my camera being damaged! :-) I was actually stood where the police where, sort of sandwiched between both sets of opposing demonstrators. The police thought I was press and let me get on with it. I actually went closer in for this shot because it was a rare moment of something exciting happening. Most of the time they were just chanting and the demo was really small anyway, not like the ones in Bradford or South wales.
