Not really. Most Future titles have a very small staff and rely a lot on the contributions of freelancers.

What is the issue here? This is the Photo Plus Forum (a magazine about Canon SLR cameras) and a member of the staff has asked for submissions taken with Canon equipment. I do not see what the problem is. I am sure that if Future came up with a Nikon, Pentax or Sony camera focused mag that it would be added to PhotoRadar as well. I suspect they would each have their own forum and ask for submissions on their chosen equipment as well.

i don't think the issue is photoplus or it's place in the forums, it should be here and about time too, great mag......
£20 to write a review, come on it may not be published they will get hundreds of submission take bit from each compile a independant buying advice spread, saves them hundreds of pounds a column.. if they want my information or consumer gear use ... give me, more than money ... if i was lucky enough to be to have something published .. i would love to be a part of their apprentice scheme with a Pro... now thats worth writing for ....for no payment... just Reward .promise me this and i will write with such passion that it will make the gods weep.......

How about payng for other reviews for other camera manufacturers of must have equipment for DCMag to equal things up then?
Silence expected!
This is the PhotoPlus forum - aimed at PhotoPlus readers, and therefore Canon users. Plenty of other forums. No conspiracy - sorry

i seems some people dont know how to read, unless im mistaken this is the photoplus canon thread, seems that this is one of few payments magazines are liable to offer people for a small review.

i think its good to hear from real people using real usefull items to help our creativeness

IF YOU CANT STAND THE HEAT,GET OUT OF THE KITCHEN !

Big up the 7d and canon, this mother's gona blow nikon out the water !!

I can't see what the problem is,it's not like they have asked for you to pay them £20 for the privilege of being in their magazine.
