Dinner?

From a couple of days ago - Swans were after dinner so edged in close and Dog was thinking dinnery thoughts! Plenty of hissing in the standoff - unfortunately Dog didn't get a sharp peck on the nose (he only needs telling once and he'll remember for next time!)

Don't usually do faux frames but unfortunately framed a little too close in - but it was taken one-handed - with the Canon G11 (not my usual which I leave behind when out with Dog)

Great shot :-) Black and white works great here. I also like the composition, the two swans either side of the dog. The dogs looks gorgeous, is it a huskie?

He is a Spitz-type dog (so the same sort as Husky) but is a Canadian Eskimo Dog - a rescue having been abandoned on the moors just down the road - can't think why as he has a lovely nature. Dog Warden knew we had a Husky and so would know how to look after him (loads exercise, diet & never off lead - possibly why he was dumped as owner couldn't cope) and suggested we take him
