Just a couple of weeks after Sue, never did get an invite. Sue I presume you mean the minolta dimage 7i, Rather basic compared with what you use now

I always prefered the previous model as this was IR capable.

A lot of us seemed to miss out on the email, Harry - we ended up with a personal invite after all the others who never actually used the old site got theirs A lot of people just seemed to disappear!

50 is no biggy just an excuse to party

My son is 35 in two weeks time. I was chatting with my husband and made some remark about him being nearly 40. Then I realised that would make me the mother of a 40 yr old!

Becoming a grandmother was no big deal but mother of a 40 yr old? horror

If only I could find a camera club (within - public transport - travelling distance) full of fuddy-duddies with a lot of knowledge to dispense!

Here's a list of some 67 camera clubs within the Southern Photographic Federation which includes Hampshire within it's boundaries. You may find some luck there.

Yes I remember Sue from the old site, as well as others who are here too. I was a forum member at the old DCM site for about 4 years. I had a disagreement with one member and went on to newer climes before comng here. Not sure why I am here yet, but it is a lot less argumentative here than it became over there. I was invited to join our Island club, but just don't get the time to attend.
