I really like this, Matt. The b/w is spot on and I like the composition. I don't know if you do a lot of flower photography but Fleur Olby is worth a look at.

Nice! I would also have liked to see some of the stem - perhaps the lily in a tall glass vase, and shot in portrait orientation.

I like this shot as it is, composition is good, effect is striking, as Karen says BW is spot on.

Could be used for advertising, as plenty of space to add text ect.

In another version, the DOF could be greater to show the whole lilly in focus perhaps, but it would be a different shot entirely then.

I agree it is a nice shot and there is plenty of room for text; but possibly too much background drawing the emphasis (as a stand alone photograph).

Cropping the left handside (where the http text starts measurement wise) would in my opinion balance the composition, keeping the emphasis upon the subject while maintaining the interest of contrasting shape made by the lily against the flat black. Nice work all the same.
