If you post your pics in the critique section you will usually get a good cross section of responses.

HI Dan,
Welcome to the forum!

Just upload some images in the Photo Critique section of the forum and people will comment and provide advice, suggestions etc.
Take a look through some of the threads in that section and you will get a feel for how it works.
