Lightbulb MAC and Aperture Request

Dear Team,

Under Camera's and Equipment, is there any chance of a new Forum titled MAC/Aperture? I see there is one called 'Computers' but a dedicated MAC & Aperture forum would be fantastic...... especially as MAC's are becoming more popular for photographers.
Thanks in advance.

No one seems interested

Thanks for your support Browndog. Looks like no one within the PR team are interested in even saying 'don't be so stupid'
I give up, I'm Beaten and I'm disappointed!

Why exactly do you need a Mac/Aperture subforum? There's already a computer help forum and a digital darkroom forum that are appropriate to those topics. I can't see the attraction in adding more, ever more specialised, subforums when there's already far too many as it is. If anything I think they should look at condensing what they have to make the forum easier to use instead taking the scattergun approach at making sure they don't leave anyone out.

Hear, hear. Far too many forums at the moment (IMHO).

Thanks guys, at least we have your opinion and it's a fair one, just not one I would agree with. Happy to go with the flow but how about something from the Team??

Sorry to be a pain but i dont agree .... one of the problems with the old web site was with the thread structure making it imposable to find relevant information which resulted in the repetitive threads ....what is the best tripod to get for a fiver

Far better to have a logical thread structure... that is not only easy for the user to navigate but should improve the search feature.

Cheers

David

Hi everyone,

We have no plans to include a MAC/Aperture forum at the moment.

As ap4a pointed out, the computer help and digital darkroom forums should hopefully be enough to cater for this kind of topic.

Thanks for your thoughts on this though, it's certainly very interesting feedback which we're always grateful to hear.

Thanks,

Amy
