What do you think?

Two photo's the first is a cotton flover, with processing, the second I just wanted to create a sillouette to show the birds at rest.

I think the flower is beautiful; a very different flower picture.

And I wish I'd spotted those birds!

Hi Cutter,
I like the flower. My Daughter is off school now, and I'm going to try and do some similar pictures with her, but short on backgrounds....

Both completely different shots but both brilliant! The first one has stunning warm tones and almost looks like a painting! The second one is very well spotted and I love how you captured the birds in the tree.
They're both really creative.

Mark, I love the lighting and tones of number 1. That's a great shot. Number 2 is always a nice shot to get and your composition is good with this one. Like that too.

Hi Cutter, Two lovely contrasting photos. I agree with Karen, the first could easily have been painted by a Dutch master, the colours are fantastic. Whilst the second shows the starkness of winter. Is the tree in your garden and if so, is it the Japanese flowering cherry (Prunus Amanogawa)? Upright growing with scented blossom in May.

In my opinion Mark, your photography has really excelled this year, and your artistic flair shines too. I think I prefer the second image, yet love the rich tones in the first. Great work and I like your W/End comp entry as well

Thanks for that mark. I couldn't tell the height of the tree in the shot.
