Correcting a colour.

The snow (in the shade) in the foreground has a blueish tint; I suppose it's the reflection of the blue sky. What is the best way to correct this?

make a selection of the areas where you want to loose the blue tone and make a new layer with it ( control and J ) then slide back the temprature, or go to Hue and sat and reduce the blue tones a little,
That will keep your blue sky and reduce the blue in the snow
Hope that makes sense

Have never got to grips with layers; bought Photo Elements about a year ago and it feels and handles so differently from my trusty ACDSee, that I don't use it. (I'm starting a beginners' course in January, hope to master it then.)
Can do hue and saturation though, and I think I managed to change it. Thanks!

Didn't realise the picture disappears from the forum thread if removed from the 'members pictures.' Sould have left the original photo up for a little longer.

I really like this photo. It's quite unusual with the mix of the two seasons shown. Winter with the underlying Autumn colours. You were unduly worried about the bluey tint and there is still some of that still there. However, for me, I think that it adds to the scene. It is merely the reflection of the sky.
