Your Mission 105: Low Light

Would you like to win a Lowepro Flipside 400 AW backpack worth £120? Enter this month's Digital Camera Your Mission for a chance to be published in the mag and take home the prize.

Here are the details you need:

The Mission: Low Light (This month's mission is to make the most of low light. But that doesn't mean you have to venture out at dawn to shoto the winning image - anything shot in low light, from church interiors to portraits, will be considered. We're looking for a shot that uses available light creatively, and that captures the sort of atmosphere you only get as light starts to fade. A splash of colour can be crucial to help bring an otherwise dark image to life, but that's not to say that a mono image won't come out on top.)

The closing date: 15 November 2010.

To enter, upload your shots to PhotoRadar and send the link to your gallery to digitalcamera@futurenet.com with the words "Your Mission: Low Light" in the subject line.

The best three shots will be printed in issue 107, on sale 14 December 2010. A selection of the best shots will appear on PhotoRadar.

Congratulations Jim on a very worthy and poignant winning entry, which I am sad to say the content contained within, will become a more common sight on our streets in the near future. I'd also like to say well done to Giulio on his photo, which I thought was a very creative way to make shadows!

I would also like to give a big "Thankyou!" to the Photoradar staff for my image being selected. For me, the real prize was being able to turn round and give a quietly, smug rebuttle to my girlfriend, who at the time of photographing the shot, asked me in a tone that suggested I had gone raving mad, "Why are you taking pictures of your webcam ???

This is not just a victory for me, but for men everywhere, whos partners think photography is for geeks. Gentlemen, I salute you one and all

Ironically though, my girlfriend was more excited than I was and will be purchasing the magazine in Canada as a momento. Maybe I can turn her to the light side yet lol.

Thank you amk1977!

Unfortunaly I have not seen the images yet, i asked to a friend to buy the magazine and send me a copy because i'm in Italy.
In the meantime, please, could anyone send me a photo of the page? ;-) (giddiaATgmailDoTcom)

A big Thankyou to the staff for the selection!!

Well done to Jim and amk1977,

It's not just men who suffer from less than enthusiastic partners.

A typical conversation in my house between me and my partner:

Me: Do you want to go for a walk?
Him: When you say 'walk' do you mean, walk three steps, spend 20 minutes taking photos, walk another five steps and then spend a further 20 minutes taking photos?
Me: No....
