I thought senior member was one of the movers and shakers too. When my status changed, I thought I was going to be given tasks to do!

The thing about being senior is that when you are given tasks to do, you soon forget them and ask a passer-by if you've had your tea yet.

Sounds terrifying! How soon into the 'senior ship' do the problems start?
I don't think I've been given a task yet ... or have I ... ? I'm actually having a cup of tea right now ... How significant is that?

Hmmm, sounds like it's started already

You'll know when they start because you'll be just outside your house on a perfect cloud free day and you'll see a fantastic photo opportunity so you'll go inside to retrieve your camera, but on the way in you'll see the post on the hall table that came earlier and you never opened so you'll have a look through that and find a bill to pay, so you'll go to find your cheque book so you can get it paid, while you're looking for that you notice the flowers in the vase need their water topping up so you'll go to do that and as soon as you've put the vase down by the sink you think you better get something out of the freezer to defrost for that nights dinner. The food you wanted is in the house freezer though so you'll go out to the other freezer in your garage and rummage through that until you find something, coming back in you'll once again see the post on the hall table so when you've put the food somewhere to defrost you go back to it as you remember something about paying a bill, but you can't see it so dismiss it and go back to topping the water up in the flower vase. You decide to give them some new light and put them in the lounge when you realise the grass out the front is a bit long so you go back outside, get the mower out and cut the crass, then you realise the flower beds need weeding so you start about that. Then half way through you remember the washing in the machine will be finished so you go in and get that out to hang on the line but it's a bit late so you put it into the tumble dryer. You realise your dinner is nearly defrosted so you better start on that, so by the time you've cooked and eaten it's getting dark, you've missed your photo op, you're washing isn't dry, the bills aren't paid and the garden isn't done but you're knackered and wonder where the day went....

I'll never get that much done (or not done) in a day, so I'm not there yet!
