Ok - Be Honest...

There was another show, locally shot for me , the kids show Byker Grove, it wasn't the best kids show by miles, a lot of the acting was stiff, but it gave kids a chance, experiences they otherwise wouldn't have had and some have gone on to bigger and better things in front of and behind the camera. Surely anything that home grown and employs people must be good............

And isn't there one actor, who's been in the series from the start, playing the same role for half a century ... He obviously hasn't spread his wings; still learning the ropes I suppose.

I just think the acting is terrible and the scripts are mundane. It was on at my Mum's house when I visiited the other night and I can't for the life of me see what the appeal is. Same goes for Eastenders and all the other soaps.
