I like the harshness of the barbed wire and the moody sky. Combined with the snow on the ground leading to the gate it works well. Looks like you used a lower perpective as well which works.

Nice work ABERS, a great capture of the light, gives a moody feeling to the scene . (Perhaps knit picking in my personal tastes, would have been nice to see just a tad more of that sky over the first post, to balance, echo with the lighter ground leading the eye up to the gate. That said, the tight framing adds to the barbed fencing - nice one).

Thanks for the comments Karen and Andy. Just one little point however, and I know it can get cold on the north sea coast, but this, if my memory serves me well, was taken in June a couple of years ago. ;-).

I have edited my post accordingly - (I guess the recent cold snap is cause for assumption and a note to myself to look more carefully) - I really enjoy viewing your work Alan - Have a good weekend

Same here, I just assume snow is in every landscape shot lately! :-)
