Yep, she wants the 64Gb one, we have compromised and settled on the 32Gb, about £430. The problem is, while many places have them advertised, it's not clear who has them in stock and if they can deliver in time...

Since it is 16:02 here in Toronto, I am still at work. CBC here has Coronation Street on in the afternoon. It also does the whole week at once on Sunday mornings from 7:30 to 10:00.

One channel in Canada has - at peak viewing time of 9pm - Eastenders, followed by Emmerdale. Every night. Every %*%#$%^ night!

Still, Christmas viewing on BBC Canada is great - two or three years ago it did a "Hotel Babylon" marathon on Christmas Day. 24 hours of Hotel Flippin Babylon!

So obvious a woman thing...lol My wife is glued. Mind you I caught the last few minutes the other night and have to say the special effects used in that tram accident are stunning and worthy of an award.

When I lived in Canada every day was filled with hour after hour of the Flintstones. They must have made millions of episodes. Other than that it was nothing but old black and white movies on a colour TV which seems pointless to me unless you enjoy B movies of a long gone era.

Two things I've learnt from this forum about Canada:-

1) They are very good at dealing with Large Snow & Ice storms
2) They have crap TV!

Do you think number 2 could be a good reason why they are so good at number 1?
