big bargains or scam?

hello people, i'm always looking for online bargains and i've come across these couple of sites:
http://www.justcanon.net/
http://www.justnikon.net/
and their prices are so good that i'm wondering if this isn't any kind of scam. has anyone ever bought in any of these shops? how can i verify if this is a real shop without risking my wallet?

OK i got my answer at the real justcanon site
www.justcanon.com

"We have been informed that there is a "fake" site passing off as ourselves.

The fake site is justcanon.net and appears to be selling Canon items at considerably less than the U.K Dealer cost. - Don't forget !" If it seems too good to be true, then it usually is!"

This site is nothing to do with us here and you can check on the Canon U.K site that we at www.justcanon.com (and www.justcanon.co.uk) are an authorised Canon e-tailer, and all our products are supplied by Canon.UK. We are a subsidiary of Freehand Limited which has been in business for over 25 years. We will always answer telephone calls on 01483 200111.

If you have had dealings with any "fake" e-tailer and you have been unable to contact them by phone, and you have been a victim of fraud, then please contact your local police."

I think the key is to make sure you pay by credit card (and I believe *some* debit cards but not necessarily all?) - that way, at least you're in with a decent chance of getting your money back from the card company if it all goes wrong!

Things like this are seen as "victimless crimes" as most online transactions take place with a credit card, therefore the assumption is that the customer will claim back from the card issuer. I've fallen foul of this one, which is particularly annoying as the site had a "verified by" login, all of the required security, a REAL name and address, yet still he was scamming users and trading standards / the police appeared powerless to deal with it despite being fully aware of the problem, as (I understand) he was apparently making some kind of effort to trade, and was refunding disgruntled customers.... 3 months late, and just within his legal requirements....
