I run Win 7 32 bit and Firefox is my browser too. Just opened your PhotoRadar link and the video runs just fine. I will check the other links and let you know how they run.

PS: Both Adobe links worked fine too although the top link took a bit longer to download from the black screen. Your problem may have been a glitch. I had a few IP problems yesterday. Maybe you are having similar problems.
Be patient with the rotating disc and just let the video automatically play.

PPS. I had an Adobe flash player update come through about ten days ago. Did you get that update?

That's very odd. Just checked the BBC link and again, fine for me.

It could be a memory problem, as the rotating disk suggest the video clip is trying to load, but might not be enough memory to load the whole clip. Or Windows is bleeding into the memory area the clip is trying to use. Some clips won't run unless the whole clip is in memory whilst, others will run part of the clip then pause while the rest loads. Try looking on Windows7 forums, I have posted a link below.

I don't know whether you have found a solution to your problem? If not, you could try this:

Right-click where the Flash video should be and in the pop-up box click on Global Settings...

This should take you to the Flash Player Help, Settings Manager web page. Scroll down that page until you see the link Global Storage Settings Panel. When you click on the link it will open up the Global Storage Settings Panel. On the panel you will see a box 'Allow third-party Flash content to store data on your computer'. If that box is already ticked I'm afraid my suggestion won't help. However, if the box is unticked click on it to tick it.

Hopefully you will then find that Flash video plays on all sites, not just some. Fingers crossed.

A: Check your Internet Explorer Tools menu for the Manage Add-ons options. Do you have Shockwave Flash installed and enabled?
If yes go to one of your swf files and right mouse click and choose Open with..... Make sure IE is the chosen program or choose the correct flash player you installed. Then make sure the check box for 'Always use the selected program' is checked.
Reply: Thanks for your answer but I’ve done all of that already and believe me, i ve done even much more. i even managed to find it on my pc ......(something that i downloaded had to be somewhere on my pc, i just had to look at the right place. and i did. it was in "SYSWOW64" directory). but still when i selected it through "open with", it still wouldn’t start.
so i decided to go for an open source alternative...http://www.topshareware.com/SWF-Open...load-11943.htm
and it s working just fine......
